BVA Group's Alexander Walther recently presented on the AICPA's Annual Economic Damages Case Law Update webcast. During the webinar, Alexander and his co-panelists previewed the now released AICPA Case Repository, provided an in-depth discussion of court decisions related to experts testifying on economic damages, and discussed how the various court decisions may relate to practitioners who quantify damages. The AICPA Case Repository and webinar are the results of a year-long process involving the research of numerous cases, the review of case law and court opinions, and the summarizing of relevant materials identified. Other BVA professionals assisted Alexander in researching and summarizing cases for inclusion in the AICPA Case Repository and associated webinar.
