Shelby Stewart is responsible for executing a variety of engagements related to valuation and financial advisory engagements.  These engagements span employee stock ownership plans, valuation opinions for tax (including corporate and gift and estate), financial reporting (with a focus on “fair value” accounting for goodwill impairment and purchase price allocations), and transaction advisory purposes including fairness opinions.  Ms. Stewart has served clients in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, construction and engineering services, industrials and manufacturing, clean energy, media and entertainment, and consumer goods. 

Ms. Stewart graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and Communication.  Prior to joining BVA, she worked as an Energy and Natural Resources Analyst within Stifel’s Investment Banking division.
