BVA’s Todd Fries, together with Roger Grabowski, authored a detailed case study illustrating the development of the cost of capital in the context of a potential acquisition of a successful closely held company by a private equity investor. It was recently published in Cases in Financial Management: Applications for Financial Analysis, a treatise illustrating advanced applications in financial management and market principles designed for use by both academics and practitioners. The co-authors also presented this case study at the ASA International Conference.
